Parent Association

The Parent Association is dedicated to supporting a key factor in the Suzuki education experience: you, the Suzuki parent. As a family enrolled in STES, you are part of our Parent Association. The Association is a vital part of your child’s Suzuki education and supports both the teachers and parents in education the students. The Parent Association is responsible for recitals and recognition of students’ progress. Both are important to fostering a child’s success. STES tuition does not cover the expenses for recitals and student recognition. The majority of the Parent Association budget goes to cover costs such as hall rental, refreshments, supplies, trophies and plaques.

In addition, the Parent Association:

• Provides a lending library
• Conducts a listening contest
• Maintains a family directory
• Holds fundraisers
• Produces a handbook
• Posts monthly e-mail bulletin board
